We are a group of enthusiasts, artists, designers and, above all, humanists.
We agree with the thesis of American design reformer John Maeda, who sensitizes designers: "The problem we currently face is not to make the world even more technological, but rather to make it human again."
The Empathic Design exhibition presents objects and inventions created with the young generation of students in the spirit of empathy, responding to the needs of ourselves and the Planet. We explore the importance of dialogue and communication, seeking new regions and interfaces for them.
What drives us? Our goal is to better understand the effectiveness of interdisciplinary processes design, using philosophical approaches, communication strategies and simple technologies interactive to generate innovative solutions that shape conscious and sustainable social attitudes. Through the works presented, we aim to provide evidence that design can intervene in responsible development issues not only as a means of solving problems, but also as a mechanism for understanding emotions, public moods, their relationship with nature and as a tool for manifesting, critiquing, educating or prototyping our future.
