Kate McHugh Stevenson is a textiles practitioner and writer based in eastern France, just outside of Geneva, Switzerland. Her ongoing research since 2011 has looked at the cultivation of collective resilience through craft and repair, with a specific focus since 2016 on knitting and botanical dyeing. Her practice and professional activity includes the creation and repair of textile pieces, knitting, dyeing, and patchwork quilting, and the facilitation of public workshops on dyeing, dye plant foraging, and textile mending.
