'Unfinished Business’

This first art exhibit in Espace Candide on the French-Swiss border in Ferney Voltaire lifts a tip of the veil on the ideas, art and design concepts generated by Jan Van Mol during 24 years of running his unique international ‘creative laboratory’ Addictlab. 

Jan Van Mols thoughts and ideas are cross-disciplinary, emphasising sustainability, the importance of nature, the need for critical thinking with a dash of tongue-in-cheek humour. In fact, his crossover ideas are turning interdisciplinary thinking into an innovative form of art.

‘Unfinished business’ showcases inspirational ideas that have become tangible by the creation of prototypes via fab lab environments and DIY machinery.

These concepts do not necessarily result in the actual production of objects, for a wide range of reasons, but can be seen as unique pieces of art.
