A Rube Goldberg machine, named after American cartoonist Rube Goldberg, is a machine intentionally designed to perform a simple task in an indirect and overly complicated way. Usually, these machines consist of a series of simple unrelated devices; the action of each triggers the initiation of the next, eventually resulting in achieving a stated goal. In the United Kingdom, a similar contrivance is referred to as a "Heath Robinson contraption" after cartoons by the illustrator W. Heath Robinson.

J'ai créer aujourd'hui un grand panneau dans ma rue avec une carte du quartier. Les passants mettent un clou ou une punaise sur l'endroit où ils habitent.

Je vais ensuite relier tous ces points avec du fil afin d'en faire un dessin.

Et vous, pourquoi ne pas inventer un moyen d'entrer en communication avec vos voisins ?

Ne pas oublier les consignes de securité et d'hygiène !

Saviez vous que l'Opéra de Paris propose des représentations en live? De nombreux artistes ou formations proposent des concerts live via les réseaux sociaux. Suivez les théâtres près de chez vous, certains sont très actifs sur Facebook et proposent des activités créatives pour les enfants. La plateforme Google Arts & Culture permet aussi de découvrir de nombreux musées, monuments ou expositions. Il y a même une section avec des expérimentations qui mêlent art et technologie. Vive le dépaysement, il y en a vraiment pour tous les goûts !

Si vous avez une planche avec des clous, vous pouvez créer un dessin géométrique avec du fil. Vous pouvez aussi utiliser du carton et des punaises, voire simplement dessiner les points et les relier.

Pourquoi ne pas créer tous ensemble votre mood board familial pendant cette période un peu particulière ?

C'est un bon moyen d'échanger avec vos enfants sur leurs impressions, ce qu'ils ont retenu de la journée, l'activité qui leur a plu, mais aussi sur leur ressenti et les sentiments qu'ils éprouvent... Dessin, photo, collage, quelques phrases, un nuage de mots... Varier les moyens d'expression au fil des jours peut aussi donner l'opportunité de (se) découvrir de nouveaux talents, alors tous à vos carnets :)
